For adolescent boys aged 12-16 years

Strength, speed, and athletic development for adolescent boys

For boys who enjoy sport and physical activity, developing strength, speed, coordination, and movement skills can play an important role in both sporting performance and long-term physical health.

Our sessions are designed to help young athletes move more efficiently, develop strength and power, improve speed and agility, and build confidence in their physical abilities. Alongside enhancing performance in sport, appropriately delivered training can also help young athletes become more physically robust and resilient to the demands of training and competition.

Adolescence is often a period of rapid growth and physical change. During this time, boys can experience changes in coordination, balance, and movement control. Developing key athletic qualities such as sprinting, jumping, landing, and changing direction helps young athletes adapt to these changes while building strong foundations for sport and physical activity.

Through our research-driven and experience-based approach to athletic development, MatchFit Movement provides age-appropriate strength and conditioning training for adolescent boys aged 12–16 years.

Sessions are delivered by professionally qualified strength and conditioning coaches accredited by the UK Strength & Conditioning Association and take place at the Rayleigh MegaCentre.
