For adolescent girls aged 12-16 years

Strength, speed, and athletic development for adolescent girls

For girls who enjoy sport and physical activity, developing strength, speed, coordination, and movement skills can play an important role in both sporting performance and long-term physical health.

Our sessions are designed to help young athletes move with confidence, develop strength and power, improve speed and agility, and build strong foundations for sport and physical activity. Alongside enhancing performance, appropriately delivered training can also help reduce injury risk by improving movement quality, coordination, and overall physical robustness.

Adolescence is an important period for developing athletic qualities such as sprinting, jumping, landing, balance, and change of direction. Learning how to move efficiently and developing strength in a supportive environment can help girls become more confident, resilient, and physically prepared for the demands of sport and physical activity.

Through our research-driven and experience-based approach to athletic development, MatchFit Movement provides age-appropriate strength and conditioning training for adolescent girls aged 12–16 years.

Sessions are delivered by professionally qualified strength and conditioning coaches accredited by the UK Strength & Conditioning Association and take place at the Rayleigh MegaCentre.
